Seti Provincial Hospital discharged six people after the Central Ministry of Health issued a directive to discharge patients that showed no symptoms of Coronavirus for 14 days. The inhabitants of Shivanath Rural Municipality are in a state of panic as Seti Provincial Hospital (Dhangadhi) discharged six Coronavirus patients without conducting a PCR test to see if they fully recovered. Of the six, four of them are inhabitants of Baitadi while two are from Achham.

The discharged are two 20-year-olds, a 27-year-old, and a 22-year-old. All have been kept in isolation at home, said Narendra Singh Mahata, health chief of Shivanath Rural Municipality.

Meanwhile, two infected people from Mellekh Rural Municipality of Achham have also reached their village. According to Lok Bahadur Bohara, chairman of the village municipality, “Both of them have been kept in isolation at home after the hospital sent them home without testing. We have requested the people's representatives of the wards to monitor them regularly. They were stranded in Dhangadhi for a day after the hospital discharged them.”
