Three arrested for stealing 78kg of gold from India

Three people from Sudurpaschim have been arrested for allegedly stealing 78kg of gold from India. Three persons involved in the theft of 78kg of gold were coming to Nepal when the Indian Police arrested them in Banabasa.

Indian police said, "We are suspecting the involvement of a larger group in the heist. An investigation is underway as only eight kilograms of gold were found with the three of them." Indian police refused to provide further details. However, few local level representatives and MPs are suspected to play a role, in this case, informed the sources.
