Two ladies die in an elephant attack

Bhuldevi Bohara and Basanti Bhatta had gone to the grassland at Mayapuri Community Forest in Chandani, Mahakali Municipality when they were killed in an elephant attack.
While, Lalitha Bohara, Sunita Bista, Uma Saud and Sarita Ojha were injured. The injured are being treated at a nearby Indian hospital. The Mahakali municipality of Kanchanpur has provided Rs. 50000 to the families of two people that died from the attack of wild elephants.

The meeting of the municipality has decided to provide Rs. 50000 to the deceased’s families, said Municipal Deputy Chief Chini Giri. The meeting also decided to urge the central government to provide relief and compensation to the families disturbed by the elephants.
