The issue of upgrading the Gaurifanta border into obscurity

Former Prime Minister Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuba held a meeting of the Council of Ministers to make Khakraula of Kailali a major point at the border. In a meeting attended by Deuba, India and Nepal agreed upon upgrading the Gaurifanta border, but it has not been implemented until today.

However, since the past few years, the leaders have stopped speaking about the upgrading of the Gaurifanta border. The public representatives had claimed to make Gaurifanta an international border to garner support have stopped mentioning it altogether while nothing has been done to upgrade it.
