Nepal Communist Party loses two seats to Nepali Congress in Province 7

In the by-election held in far west, Nepal Communist Party has managed to win five seats out of seven although, it lost Achham and Bajura to Nepali Congress. In the previous election Nepali Congress had won in Triveni municipality, Bajura but, this time Nepal Communist Party has managed to be in majority.
Ramesh Bahadur Khadka and Manaraj Budha of Nepal Communist Party have won in Mellekh VDC. Previously, Surendra Prasad Bhatt had won in Dogadakedar and Gajendra Bahadur Chand had won in Surnaya, Baitadi from Nepali Congress. However, this time Krishna Bahadur Tamang of Kanchanpur, Shailendra Dhanuk of Purchaudi municipality, Baitadi and Ram Bahadur Bohara of Doti have won from Nepal Communist Party.
