Amit Medicine Store suspected of tax evasion

Amit Medicine Store has allegedly been involved in tax evasion to receive the tender of Geta Eye Hospital.

The medicine store submitted a tax payer's certificate issued by the Inland Revenue Office in order to get the tender. However, the certificate was issued on Maagh 10th 2074 signed by tax officer, Ramboli Sambahampha who was transferred from Dhangadhi in Ashoj 2074.

Currently, Inland Revenue Department, Kailali has taken control of the papers from Geta Eye Hospital. Chief of the Inland Revenue Office, Dhangadhi Mr. Chandra Kumar Shrestha said, “ An investigation is underway and further proceedings will take place if the party is found guilty. “
