SSP Bista Inspects Police Offices and Border Points in Kanchanpur, Issues Security Directives

Dhangadhi: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Padam Bahadur Bista, stationed at the Sudurpaschim Province Police Office, has inspected various Area Police Offices and border points in Kanchanpur.

On Monday, SSP Bishta inspected the Area Police Offices in Belauri, Beldandi, and Tribhuvanbasti, issuing necessary directives to the police officers and personnel on duty.

During the inspection, he instructed personnel to exercise stricter control over potential customs evasion, as well as the trafficking and trade of narcotics across the border, particularly in view of the major festivals of Vijaya Dashami and Deepawali. He also directed police personnel to take measures to curb gambling and enhance traffic management to reduce road accidents.

SSP Bishta emphasized the importance of discharging duties in accordance with police conduct and professional ethics, prioritizing citizen-friendly service delivery, and fostering an environment that ensures easy access to police services for minorities and marginalized communities.

Furthermore, he provided guidance to police personnel on strengthening peace and security and making it more reliable through effective coordination with local government bodies and the general public.
