Fugitive Defendant in Foreign Employment Case Arrested in Doti

Doti: A man sentenced to imprisonment, a fine, and compensation in a foreign employment-related case has been arrested in Doti.

Police arrested 28-year-old Prakash Bahadur Rokka Magar from his home in Gadhesal, Badikedar Rural Municipality-2, on Tuesday afternoon.

A verdict delivered on Jestha 13, 2082, by the Foreign Employment Tribunal in Babarmahal, Kathmandu, had sentenced Rokka Magar to one year, five months, and six days in prison, along with a fine of NPR 50,000 and compensation of NPR 6,000.

Police stated that a team deployed from the Khadyouli Police Post in Doti arrested him while executing the court’s verdict.
