Janajyoti Basic School Students Donate Savings to Disaster Relief Fund

Dhangadhi: Students of Janajyoti Basic School in Parshuram Municipality-3, Dadeldhura, have donated money collected from their lunch expenses and savings to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support citizens affected by floods and landslides.

A total of 33 students collected Rs. 1,612 and deposited the amount into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.

Demonstrating a sense of social and national responsibility from a young age, the students saved money from their personal expenses and contributed to helping citizens affected by the disaster.

The students’ initiative has demonstrated solidarity, human compassion and cooperation toward people affected by floods and landslides. Their support has also conveyed the message that even a small contribution can have great significance during a disaster.

The students’ exemplary support has been regarded as a commendable act at the local level as well.
