Gunshot Death in Laligurans Community Forest, Kailali; One Detained for Questioning

Kailali: A 42-year-old man has died after a gunshot went off in Laligurans Community Forest, Bardagoriya Rural Municipality-3, Kailali.

Police Inspector Dambar Bista of the Area Police Office, Bauniya, said Padam Bishwakarma of Bardagoriya-3 died after a gunshot went off in the community forest last night.

According to Bista, one person who had gone to the forest with Bishwakarma has been taken into custody for questioning. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.

Bista said it has not yet been established who fired the gun, why it was fired, or whether the gun used by Bishwakarma was the one that went off.
