Two arrested with 31 grams of heroin in Kanchanpur

Mahendranagar: Kanchanpur police have arrested two people with 31 grams and 10 milligrams of heroin from Beldandi Rural Municipality-3.

According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, 26-year-old Roshan Saud and 30-year-old Umu Ram Dagoura of Shuklaphanta Municipality-2 were arrested from Banpur.

Acting on confidential information, a police team found the two in suspicious circumstances and seized 31 grams and 10 milligrams of heroin during a search. A motorcycle was also seized from them.

The District Police Office, Kanchanpur, said both individuals have been taken into custody along with the seized drugs and motorcycle, and further investigation into the incident is underway.
