One arrested for allegedly stealing cash from pharmacy in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested a person on charges of stealing money from a cash register at a pharmacy in Dhangadhi.

According to police, 29-year-old Laxman Bhul of Godavari Municipality-3 was arrested on Tuesday on charges of theft.

Bhul had allegedly stolen Rs 9,548 from the cash register of Prabin Pharmacy near Navajivan Hospital in Dhangadhi. After the incident, pharmacy owner Prabin KC apprehended Bhul and handed him over to the police.

Police also recovered three Redmi mobile phones allegedly stolen from other locations from Bhul’s possession.

Further investigation into the theft-related case against Bhul is underway, police said.
