Police take control of drone flying in restricted area in Bajura

Bajura: Police have taken control of a drone belonging to a person on charges of flying a drone in a restricted area near the Nepal Army's Ishwori Box Gulm Thapathali Barracks in Martadi, Badimalika Municipality-8, Bajura.

According to the District Police Office, Bajura, 29-year-old Tilak Shrestha of Sandhikharka Municipality-9, Arghakhanchi, flew a drone near the barracks at around 11 am on Tuesday.

After receiving information from the Nepal Army's Ishwori Box Gulm about the drone being flown, a team was deployed from the District Police Office, Bajura under the command of Police Inspector Naresh Bahadur Shahi.

Police said that Shrestha flew a drone in a restricted area and did not have the necessary documents to fly the drone. Police have taken control of the drone and brought it to the District Police Office, Bajura. Further investigation into the incident is underway, the District Police Office, Bajura, said.
