Tikapur intensifies stray animal control campaign, over 100 cattle shifted to cowshed

Tikapur: Tikapur Municipality has intensified a stray animal control campaign after the presence of cattle on roads in the market area increased the risk of accidents.

Under the initiative of the municipality, more than 100 stray animals were taken under control from various areas of the market and transferred to a cowshed in coordination with the Municipal Police, Area Police Office Tikapur and the cowshed.

The municipality stated that the campaign was launched as stray animals roaming on roads have been creating difficulties in vehicle movement and increasing the risk of accidents.

The municipality has said that such campaigns will be continued to make the market area more organized, safe and free from accidents.
