25 arrested with drugs from various locations across the country

Kathmandu: Police have arrested 25 people with drugs from various parts of the country during regular patrols.

According to the Central Police Newsroom, the arrests were made from Teku and Tinthana Gairigaun in Kathmandu, Biratnagar Airport and Haruchowk in Morang, Chanaute in Surkhet, Chepang Bazaar, Danfe, Lalpur Chowk and Kothiyaghat in Bardiya, Milan Chowk in Kailali, Chandani Chowk in Jhapa, Jurauni in Dang and Syaule in Dadeldhura.

According to police, two people were arrested from Teku with 12 grams of a brown heroin-like substance, four people from Tinthana Gairigaun with 30 tramadol tablets, one person from Biratnagar Airport with 18 grams 48 milligrams of a brown heroin-like substance, and two people from Haruchowk with 650 milligrams of a brown heroin-like substance.

Similarly, one person was arrested from Chanaute with 5 grams 690 milligrams of a brown heroin-like substance, while eight people were arrested from Chepang Bazaar, Danfe, Lalpur Chowk and Kothiyaghat-Orali Bazaar with various quantities of brown heroin-like substances.

Police also arrested two people from Milan Chowk with 240 milligrams of a brown heroin-like substance and one person from Chandni Chowk with 1 gram 250 milligrams of a brown heroin-like substance along with Rs 12,225 in cash.

Likewise, one person was arrested from Jurauni, Dang, with 35 kilograms of hashish, while three people were arrested from Syaule with 160 milligrams of a brown heroin-like substance.
