Government, Dr. Govinda KC’s representatives begin talks on hunger strike demands
Dhangadhi: The government’s negotiation team has begun discussions on the demands of Dr. Govinda KC, who has been on a hunger strike since Thursday. Talks between KC’s representatives and the government team are being held at the office of Dr. Hemraj Pandey, Medical Superintendent of Seti Provincial Hospital.
Representing the government in the talks are Dr. Jagdish Prasad Agrawal, Health Advisor to the Prime Minister, Pukar Bam, Member of the House of Representatives, Chudamani Poudel, Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Sports, and Dr. Bikash Devkota, Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene.
Dr. KC’s side is represented by his aides, Dr. Amrit Jaishi and Pawan Thapa, who are participating in the discussions.
