Thakulla-led Rastriya Swatantra Party Kailali committee receives official legitimacy
Dhangadhi: The working committee led by Kavindra Thakulla has received legitimacy from the Kailali district convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
The Central Election Commission of the party decided to recognize the Thakulla-led committee, stating that the district convention was conducted in accordance with the required procedures.
The commission ratified the district convention and decided to maintain the election results of the elected office bearers and members.
Earlier, the commission had refused to immediately grant legitimacy to the working committee elected from the RSP Kailali convention held on 24 Jestha after a complaint was filed against it.
President Kavindra Thakulla welcomed the decision made by the central body.
