Dhangadhi’s Rawal appointed General manager of Gorkhapatra Sansthan

Dhangadhi: The government has appointed Hikmat Bahadur Rawal of Kailali as the General Manager of Gorkhapatra Sansthan. The Cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to appoint Rawal to the post.

Minister for Education and Sports, who is also the government spokesperson, informed that the decision was taken at the Cabinet meeting. According to him, Rawal was appointed as General Manager on the proposal of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.

Earlier, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology had made public the names of 10 candidates from among those who had applied for the post of General Manager. The Cabinet selected Rawal from the same list and assigned him the responsibility.

The newly appointed General Manager Rawal had previously served as Sudurpaschim Bureau Chief at Avenues Television for a long time. After that, he also worked as Sudurpaschim Bureau Chief at News 24 Television.

Later, Rawal worked for Galaxy Television for some time and was most recently associated with BBC Nepali.
