Deep boring installed in Syaule bazaar to address drinking water shortage

Dhangadhi: A deep boring has been installed in Syaule Bazaar, located in Phulbari of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-14, to address the ongoing drinking water crisis, providing relief to local residents.

The Sub-metropolitan City arranged for drinking water after the electrically operated deep boring came into operation. According to Sub-metropolitan City Chief Gopal Hamal, a 320-foot deep boring was constructed in front of the forest office near Syaule Bazaar as water scarcity intensified in the area.

He stated that the deep boring was implemented to ease the daily lives of residents and to offer a long-term solution to the water shortage problem.

Prior to this, the Sub-metropolitan City had been supplying water through fire engines and road cleaning vehicles after local pipelines ran dry. The deep boring project was initiated a few days ago as the crisis worsened.
