Bajura declared fully vaccinated and sustainable district
Bajura: Bajura district was declared fully vaccinated and sustainable on Sunday.
The district was declared fully vaccinated and sustainable as locals from all nine municipalities in the district have fully vaccinated children from birth to 15 months and children between 16 and 23 months. A total of 1,348 children in the district have been fully vaccinated.
In the declaration of full vaccination, 274 children from birth to 15 months in Triveni Municipality, 174 in Gaumul, 310 in Khaptad Chhededah Rural Municipality, and 218 in Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality have been fully vaccinated, said Khadka, acting office chief of the District Health Office, Bajura.
Similarly, 300 children in Badimalika Municipality, 353 in Budhinanda Municipality, 236 in Budhiganga Municipality, 162 in Jagannath Rural Municipality, and 180 in Himali Rural Municipality have been fully vaccinated.
Tulsiram Rokaya, Coordinator of the District Vaccination Coordination Committee and Chief of the District Coordination Committee Bajura, stated that one person from Triveni Municipality, one from Badimalika Municipality, one from Budhinanda Municipality, and one from Budhinanda Municipality, who received one vaccine and four others who did not, played an important role in the full vaccination assurance and sustainability declaration program.
