Dipendra Chaudhary arrested after being sentenced to 2 years in check dishonor case

Dhangadhi: Kanchanpur police have arrested a defendant who was sentenced to two years in prison by the court in a check dishonor case.

The arrested individual has been identified as Dipendra Chaudhary, 38, a resident of Baluwaphanta, Krishnapur Municipality-6.

As per the verdict of the District Court, he had been sentenced to two years in prison in the check dishonor case. In the course of implementing the court decision, a police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Gulariya, Kanchanpur arrested him from his residence on Monday.

According to police, necessary legal proceedings have been initiated against Chaudhary.
