11 arrested with heroin and hashish in single-day operation in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested 11 people with brown heroin and hashish in separate incidents within a single day in Dhangadhi, Kailali.

Police arrested six individuals with 2 grams 303 milligrams of illegal drug, brown heroin, near Manehara, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-7, on Sunday evening. The arrested include 21-year-old Shiva Narayan Rana, 29-year-old Ram Avtar Rana, 24-year-old Subash Rana, 27-year-old Jasmant Rana, 27-year-old Subash Rana, and 18-year-old Kishor, all residents of the same area. Police from the District Police Office, Kailali, said the substance was recovered during a security check.

Similarly, police arrested two individuals with 2 grams 63 milligrams of hashish near Fapla Cricket Ground, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3, on Sunday evening. The arrested are 20-year-old Beni Madhav Khadka and 18-year-old Kishor, both residents of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-13. They were apprehended by a team deployed from the temporary police post Chatakpur, Kailali.

In another incident, police arrested three individuals with 4 grams 340 milligrams of marijuana and 110 milligrams of hashish from the festival ground of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-1 on Sunday night. The arrested are 26-year-old Ayush Oli, a resident of the same area, 26-year-old Aspat Ansari, a resident of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2, and 25-year-old Prajwal Thapa. Police from the Ward Police Office, Dhangadhi, stated that all three were arrested in possession of the substances.
