Prakash Bista elected President of Rastriya Swatantra Party Sudurpaschim province
Dhangadhi: Prakash Bista has been elected as the president of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) Sudurpaschim Province.
Bista secured the position by obtaining 358 votes in the election held under the party’s first provincial convention. His nearest rival, Janak Singh Dhami, received 154 votes.
According to the election results, Bista won by a margin of 204 votes over Dhami.
Bista, who has previously held the leadership of the Sudurpaschim Province, is expected to further strengthen the party organization following his re-election as president, enhance unity among cadres, and prioritize the expansion of the party’s organizational network across the province.
The election to select the provincial leadership of the RSWP was closely watched within the party. With Bista’s election as president, the party’s upcoming strategies and organizational expansion programs in Sudurpaschim Province are expected to gain momentum.
