Dhangadhi: Workers and contributors affiliated with the Social Security Fund can now access treatment services under the fund at Nisargadhi Hospital and Research Center Pvt. Ltd.

The availability of the Social Security Fund facility at the hospital is expected to benefit thousands of workers and their families in the Far West by providing access to quality health services along with financial protection for treatment.

According to Ram Prasad Ojha, Chief of Administration at Nisargadhi Hospital, treatment services are being provided to individuals listed under the Social Security Fund. He stated that the arrangement is expected to significantly reduce the financial burden of treatment expenses for contributors.

There is a provision that when contributors regularly affiliated with the Social Security Fund receive treatment at Nisargadhi Hospital, 80 percent of the treatment cost will be covered by the fund, while 20 percent will be borne by the service recipient as per prescribed criteria.

Under the fund’s drug treatment and health security scheme, contributors can receive treatment facilities up to a maximum of one lakh rupees per year. To be eligible, a contributor must have made regular contributions to the fund for at least three months.

After receiving treatment, the claim process can be completed by submitting necessary documents, including a doctor’s prescription, original bills for medicines and treatment, and the Social Security Fund ID card.
