18 applications approved for Vice Chancellor post of Sudurpaschim university

Dhangadhi: A total of 18 applications have been approved from among those received for the appointment of the Vice Chancellor of Sudurpaschim University. According to details made public by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, the list of selected applicants has been published.

The approved candidates include Krishna Prasad Pathak of Palpa; Agniraj Koirala and Rajendra Joshi of Kailali; Rajkumar Saund and Khemraj Joshi of Kanchanpur. Likewise, the applications of Chetraj Bhatta, Shekhar Aryal, and Ram Prasad Ghimire of Kathmandu have also been accepted, the ministry stated.

Similarly, applicants Kishan Dutta Bhatta and Dinesh Shah of Baitadi; Jagat Krishna Pokharel of Bhaktapur; Ekraj Ojha, Damaru Chandra Bhatta, and Padmaraj Joshi of Doti; Hemu Kafle of Rupandehi; Ramsagar Pandit of Dhanusha; Bishnu Vilas Adhikari of Chitwan; and Mahesh Kumar Joshi of Dadeldhura are also included in the approved list.

Following the removal of the university’s Vice Chancellors through an ordinance, the process of appointing a new Vice Chancellor has been initiated to fill the vacant position. It is expected that the selection of new leadership will further strengthen the university’s academic administration.
