Eighth auditor general’s report submitted to provincial Chief Miya

Kailali: The eighth annual report of the Auditor General has been submitted to Far Western Province Chief Nazeer Miya.

On Thursday, the Office of the Auditor General presented the eighth annual report to the Provincial Chief. Deputy Auditor General Thawaraj Adhikari handed over the report for the fiscal year 2081/82.

Receiving the report, Provincial Chief Miya stated that the Office of the Auditor General has encouraged the maintenance of financial discipline. He also commended the office for its significant contribution to financial transparency and thriftiness, adding that the report would be forwarded to the Provincial Assembly through the Chief Minister as soon as possible.

The Office of the Auditor General prepared and submitted the report in accordance with Article 294, Clause (3) of the Constitution of Nepal, encompassing activities carried out during the fiscal year 2081/82.
