Man found stabbed to death in Kanchanpur, wife taken into custody

Dhangadhi: A man was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon in Dodhara Chandani Municipality-5 of Kanchanpur. Police reported that 45-year-old Lilaram Sunar was found dead inside his own house.

According to the District Police Office, Sunar was discovered murdered at his residence on Monday morning. The incident was reported to the police by the deceased’s wife, Yashoda Sunar, earlier that morning.

Police stated that the victim had been stabbed in the neck with a sharp weapon. Following the incident, the wife has been taken into custody for questioning, and a knife has been recovered from the scene.

Preliminary information indicates that only the husband and wife were living in the house. Police said further investigation is underway to determine the cause and full details of the incident.
