Provincial government prioritizing education and employment solutions: Chief Minister Shah
Kailali: Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah has stated that the provincial government is focused on addressing unemployment while also improving the quality of education.
Speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the educational and administrative building of Bardagoriya College in Kailali on Monday, he said that the provincial government has prioritized quality education despite limited resources.
Chief Minister Shah informed that currently about 90 percent of children have access to education within a distance of half a kilometer, adding that the remaining 10 percent will be connected through road networks and that access to schools will be expanded.
The provincial government has allocated Rs 100 million in the fiscal year 2082/83 for the construction of the college building.
The program was attended by Social Development Minister Meghraj Khadka, Bardagoriya Rural Municipality Chairman Karna Kunwar, Panchadeval Binayak Municipality Mayor Ambika Chalaune, and Social Development Secretary Dr. Hemraj Regmi.
