Armed police trainee dies after sudden illness during training in Kailali
Dhangadhi: An Armed Police trainee has died in Kailali. Mahesh Mahata, who was undergoing treatment at the Badimalika Jawan Training School under the Armed Police Force Nepal, passed away on Monday morning during treatment.
He fainted around 4:30 am during treatment, and doctors declared him dead at around 5:15 am.
Mahata, a resident of Naugad Rural Municipality-1 in Darchula, had been undergoing training as a trainee soldier at the school since Falgun. The Armed Police Force has stated that he was completely healthy prior to this and suddenly fell ill.
His father is currently on his way from Darchula. It is said that post-mortem and other procedures will be carried out only after the arrival of family members. Mahata’s body has been kept at Seti Provincial Hospital for an autopsy.
