Dozer campaign launched in Tikapur to remove encroachments on government land

Kailali: Tikapur Municipality of Kailali has launched a dozer campaign to remove settlements and structures built by encroaching on government land. According to the municipality’s Chief Administrative Officer Suman Dhital, the campaign has been initiated with the objective of clearing encroached land within the municipal area.

He informed that work is currently underway to remove encroached structures from the Jamara Bridge area to the Bus Park in Tikapur Municipality-1. Structures built by encroaching on government land have been identified in various locations within the city.

Along with this, the municipality has also begun data collection at the ward level to make the encroachment removal campaign more effective.
