Jeep carrying indian pilgrims to Swargadwari crashes, one child dead and 20 injured
Kathmandu: A jeep carrying Indian pilgrims en route to Swargadwari in Pyuthan met with an accident, resulting in the death of one child and injuries to 20 others.
The accident occurred on Thursday (Baishakh 10) along the Takura road section in Pyuthan Municipality-4, according to District Police Office Chief and DSP Narahari Adhikari.
The jeep (Lu 1 Ja 3175), which was traveling from Bhingri to Swargadwari, was carrying Indian pilgrims, including five children. Police confirmed that one child died on the spot.
Most of the injured are reported to be in critical condition and have been referred to Butwal for treatment. The driver of the jeep, a Nepali citizen, was also injured in the incident.
