Helicopter rescue saves woman in labor in Bajura

Bajura: A woman in labor was rescued by helicopter from the District Hospital Bajura today.

Sanita Lwar, 28, of Pandusain, Budhinanda Municipality-10, who had arrived at the hospital in labor, was airlifted by an army helicopter and transferred to Surkhet Provincial Hospital after excessive bleeding and complications were observed even after childbirth, Chief District Officer Dorendra Niral informed RSS.

The rescue operation was carried out under the President's Women Upliftment Program.
