Customs-evading slippers and groceries seized in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Police have seized goods illegally brought from India by evading customs from near Bandevi Jungle in Krishnapur Municipality-5 of Kanchanpur district. On Saturday, a police team deployed from the Area Police Office Gulariya, Kanchanpur, found slippers and groceries worth approximately Rs. 57,050 lying unattended and took them under control.

According to the police, it is suspected that the goods were brought without completing customs procedures. The seized materials were taken under control after completing the necessary legal procedures, the police said.
