Cook dies after falling from roof of mess hall at provincial police office, Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: A cook has died after falling from the roof of the mess hall of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Police Office, Dhangadhi.

Police have stated that 27-year-old Police Office Assistant Ajay Chaudhary, a permanent resident of Krishnapur Municipality-3, Kanchanpur, fell from the upper floor (roof) of the battalion’s mess hall on Thursday while cleaning and died during treatment.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Yogendra Timilsina, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Kailali, said that Chaudhary, who fell and fainted while cleaning the upper floor of the mess hall’s kitchen around 8 am on Thursday, died on Friday.

Chaudhary died during treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital. Police have stated that further investigation into the incident is underway.
