Five injured in prisoner clash at Kanchanpur jail

Mahendranagar: Five individuals were injured in a clash between prisoners at Kanchanpur Jail on Wednesday afternoon. Prisoners from both sides sustained injuries during the incident.

According to Khadka Bahadur Khatri, Chief Superintendent of Police (SP) of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, the injured include Bhuvan Nath, Prakash Gharedi, Raju Damai, Bhuvan Air, and Ayush Bam.

The injured prisoners, all involved in drug and theft cases, are currently receiving treatment at Mahakali Provincial Hospital.

Police stated that prior disputes between the groups involved had escalated into the clash.
