15 middlemen arrested from transport office Ekantakuna

Kathmandu: Police have arrested 15 middlemen from the Transport Office in Ekantakuna.

A joint team from the District Police Range Lalitpur and Police Circle Satdobato carried out the operation, detaining individuals accused of harassing service seekers.

According to police, the arrests were made following complaints that the middlemen were extorting money by promising to expedite services through fast-track processes.

The arrested individuals have been taken to Police Circle Satdobato for further investigation, said Gautam Mishra, SP and spokesperson for the Lalitpur District Police Range.
