Attariya: A new building has been constructed for a temporary traffic police post in Syaule, Godavari Municipality-8, Kailali, with financial and in-kind contributions from local residents. The two-room structure was built at a cost of Rs 881,000.

The building was inaugurated on Monday by Deputy Inspector General of Police Om Bahadur Rana, Chief of the Sudurpaschim Province Police, during a formal program.

The construction initiative was led by Police Constable Bir Bahadur Bista, in-charge of the temporary traffic police post in Syaule, who had launched a fundraising campaign for the project. Donors who contributed to the construction were honored during the inauguration ceremony, and their names have been recorded in the building.

Previously, due to the absence of a proper facility, traffic police personnel were operating from a shed built by the Suryodaya Community Forest for keeping goats. With the completion of the new building at the same location, it is expected that service delivery will improve.
