UML Parliamentary party office locked amid Rawal’s absence

Dhangadhi: The office of the CPN (UML) Sudurpaschim Province parliamentary party has been locked. The Krishnapur Nagar Committee of the National Youth Association Nepal, affiliated with the UML, locked the office of party leader Rajendra Singh Rawal in Kanchanpur.

The action was taken citing that Rawal has been out of contact for a long time. Meanwhile, a dispute has emerged within the UML over the issue of political appointments.

The party’s Sudurpaschim Province Committee has informed the central leadership that consultations were not held with the parliamentary party and the provincial government during the process of making political appointments. Province Committee Chairman Krishna Prasad Jaishi has urged that party leader Rawal be brought into contact.
