Kanchanpur-2 MP Deepak Bohara publicizes election expense details

Dhangadhi: Deepak Bohara, a member of the House of Representatives elected from Kanchanpur Constituency No. 2, has made public his election expenses.

Bohara, who won the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 2 on behalf of the National Independent Party (NISP), disclosed that he spent a total of Rs 2,284,050 during the election campaign.

According to the details made public, Rs 487,600 was spent on vehicle rental. Similarly, Rs 250,000 was spent on election office operations, including rent, stationery and masaland.

The details also show that Rs 750,000 was spent on a door-to-door program conducted for 15 days, while Rs 275,492 was spent on arrangement expenses for two months.

Additionally, Rs 91,000 was spent on lunch for the voter training program, Rs 65,128 on printing sample ballots, and Rs 140,750 on promotional materials. Bohara also disclosed that Rs 91,680 was spent on banners and stickers, Rs 75,000 on organizing various programs, Rs 47,400 on air tickets, and Rs 10,000 on nomination registration fees.
