Only one candidate submits election expense report in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Out of 75 candidates contesting in Kailali, only one has submitted his election expense report as of the second day following the vote counting.

According to the Sudurpaschim Provincial Election Office, Chandra Saund, the Ujjaya Party Nepal candidate from Kailali Constituency No. 5, was the first to submit his election expense details on Sunday.

The Provincial Election Office stated that candidates from all five constituencies in Kailali are required to submit their expense reports to the office, while candidates from other districts in Sudurpaschim Province will submit theirs to their respective election offices. The submission process is currently ongoing.

So far, only the expense details of Chandra Saund have been received, confirmed Rajesh Chaudhary, Information Officer of the Provincial Election Office.
