Election results reflect public support for good governance: Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah

Kailali: Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah has said that the results of the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 2 have given a vote in favor of building a well-governed country.

Speaking on Monday at the 36th birth anniversary and anniversary celebration of Shree Janasewa Secondary School Baghaura Ganeshpur in Lamkichuha Municipality-2, Chief Minister Shah said that the people have expressed their support for building a corruption-free and well-governed nation. He expressed confidence that the mandate given by the people in national politics would move forward in the direction of making the country corruption-free, transparent and well-governed.

He stressed that democracy and the democratic system should be implemented in accordance with the feelings and wishes of the people. Stating that development cannot accelerate without structural reforms, he expressed the provincial government’s commitment to provide full support to the two-thirds majority government that will be formed in the coming days.

On the same occasion, Chief Minister Shah also inaugurated a two-room school building constructed with the budget allocated by the Sudurpaschim Province Government.
