Durga Prasai arrested again on allegation of attempting to disrupt election

Kathmandu: Durga Prasai, coordinator of the Citizens' Protection Campaign, has been arrested again.

Police stated that he was taken into custody from his residence in Bhaktapur on Sunday on charges of attempting to disrupt the election.

Prasai has previously been arrested and released multiple times in connection with various cases.

He had announced a boycott of the election scheduled for March 21. Police confirmed that an investigation has been initiated regarding the matter.
