Melauli municipality declares three-day school holiday for president’s running shield competition

Baitadi: Melauli Municipality of Baitadi has declared a three-day public holiday in community educational institutions within the municipality as the sixth edition of the municipal-level President’s Running Shield competition is set to be held.

According to a notice issued by the municipality, all community schools will remain closed from Tuesday to Thursday. Mayor Bhim Bahadur Chand said that the holiday has been granted to ensure the participation of students in the competition.

The notice has urged all schools and students to actively take part in the municipal-level President’s Running Shield competition.
