NCP faces confusion in Kanchanpur-2, issues tickets to two leaders

Dhangadhi: The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has created confusion in Kanchanpur-2 by issuing its election ticket to two different leaders.

Initially, the party awarded the ticket to former provincial minister Lal Bahadur Khadka on Magh 30, with NCP Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal personally handing it over and wishing him success. However, on Monday, the party again issued the ticket for the same constituency to Madhav Prasad Pant, with Dahal and Nepal presenting it to him.

The dual allocation has sparked questions regarding the party’s decision-making process in the constituency.
