Dr. Tara Joshi resigns from Sudurpaschim provincial assembly

Kailali: Dr. Tara Joshi, a member of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly, has resigned from his position.

Dr. Joshi, who was elected as an independent candidate from Dadeldhura Provincial Assembly (B), stepped down after the National Independent Party (NISP) nominated him as its candidate for the House of Representatives from Dadeldhura. Sudurpaschim Province Speaker Bhim Bahadur Bhandari confirmed that Dr. Joshi submitted his resignation via email on Sunday upon becoming a House of Representatives candidate while still serving as a Provincial Assembly member.

Recently associated with the Ujjwal Nepal Party, Dr. Joshi remained aligned with the NISP, supporting unity even after the proposed merger with NISP was dissolved.
