Fugitive convicted in theft cases arrested in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested a fugitive from Dhangadhi in connection with theft cases.

The arrested individual has been identified as 28-year-old Hridaya Shahi, a resident of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City–5. Shahi had been sentenced by the District Court Kailali to two months and three days in prison in one theft case, and to an additional 16 days of imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 11,500 in another theft case.

According to police, Shahi was arrested on Thursday by a team deployed from the District Police Office, Kailali, from the Bus Park area of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City–4.
