Nepali Congress recommends candidates for all five Kailali constituencies ahead of elections
Dhangadhi: Nepali Congress Kailali has finalized and recommended the names of candidates for both direct and proportional representation from all five constituencies of the district for the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives and the National Assembly. The House of Representatives elections are scheduled for Falgun, while the National Assembly elections will be held in Magh, according to District Secretary Nrip Sunar.
In Constituency No. 1, Taptaraj Joshi, Janakraj Chaudhary, Buddhisagar Chaudhary, Dr. Ranabahur Rawal, and former minister Ramjanam Chaudhary have been recommended for direct representation. For proportional representation, the names include Umakumari Badi, Keshari Kumari Rawal, Dhiraj Regmi, Dirgha Bahadur Rawal, Bir Bahadur Hamal, Rajesh Kumar Tamta, and Sushila Swar. Jagannath Rimal, Neer Bahadur Khadka, and Fakir Singh Kadayat have been proposed for the National Assembly.
From Constituency No. 2, recommended for direct representation are Krishnaraj Pandey, Ghanshyam Joshi, Vijay Bahadur Swar, Him Bahadur Rawal, Gopal Bahadur Bam, Lalit Bhatta, Bir Bahadur Tharu, Namraj Upadhyay, Jitendra Upadhyay, and Mohan Rathore. Proportional representation includes Shiva Thapa, Tika Chaudhary, Suman Sanjel, Rita Chaudhary, Govinda Bista, Bal Bahadur Bista, Rabindra Kumar Chaudhary, Sushila Joshi, Karna Bahadur Chaudhary, Nandaram Badi, and Nrip Suvarnakar. For the National Assembly, Janak Bahadur Bam, Mohan Singh Rathore, Ambika Kumari Bhattarai, Shiva Thapa, Bal Bahadur Bista, Dharmaraj, and Narayan Sharma have been recommended.
In Constituency No. 3, Khemraj Chaudhary, Bhim Baduwal, Avinash Chaudhary, and Jhankar Shah are recommended for direct representation, while Rita Chaudhary, Ram Kumari Chaudhary, and Samjhana Khatri have been proposed for proportional representation. Ram Charan Chaudhary and Kalawati Shah are recommended for the National Assembly.
From Constituency No. 4, the direct candidates include Bir Bahadur Balayar, Dinesh Raj Joshi, Vijay Bahadur Kunwar, Lokraj Pandey ‘Ago’, Tekraj Joshi, Nainsingh Mahar, and Bhuvan Mahara. Proportional representation includes Yagnanidhi Koirala, Janaki Pal, Khadak Singh Badaila, Gopal Bahadur Deuba, Ganga Kami, and Ramesh Tamrakar. For the National Assembly, Dr. Laxmi Raj Pathak, Gajendra Pant, and Hira Bhatt have been recommended.
In Constituency No. 5, Dr. Arju Rana Deuba, Narayan Shah ‘Manu’, Kshitij Bhandari, Dilli Raj Pant, and Nrip Wad have been recommended for direct representation. The proportional representation candidates are Dr. Jeevan Rana, Gauri Kumari Lama, Manch Deval, Sushila Mishra Bhatta, Sunita Kumari Rana, Pushpa Bhatta Joshi, Nrip Chokhal, Jagruti Bogati, Tek Bahadur Raika, Pramila Lamsal, and Nar Bahadur Bam. For the National Assembly, Rita Bhandari, Harish Khadka, and Ramchandra Ojha have been recommended.
