Sudurpaschim Royals sign Indian cricketer Sheldon Jackson ahead of NPL playoffs

Kathmandu: Despite the conclusion of the league stage of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Sudurpaschim Royals continue to strengthen their squad.

The team, which has secured a place in the playoffs, has signed 39-year-old Indian cricketer Sheldon Phillips Jackson. Jackson joins the Royals following the departure of Australian players Chris Lynn and Josh Brown, who featured for the team during the league stage. Lynn is sidelined due to injury, while Brown has moved to participate in the Big Boss League.

Jackson, who represents Saurashtra in India’s domestic cricket, has amassed over 7,000 runs in first-class cricket, including 21 centuries. He has also played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Kolkata and Bangalore.
