Far-west offers vast investment opportunities, says Chief Minister Shah

Dhangadhi: Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, Kamal Bahadur Shah, has highlighted the significant investment potential in the Far West region.

He made the statement while reviewing the ‘Investment Potential, Opportunities and Challenges in the Far West Province Status Report – 2081,’ prepared by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, during the Far West Province Investment Summit today.

Chief Minister Shah emphasized that the provincial government is prioritizing the creation of an investment-friendly environment. “The provincial government is moving towards creating an investment-friendly environment. I express my commitment to move forward by taking the private sector into confidence,” he said.

Chandrapasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, handed over the status report and noted the immense potential in tourism, agriculture, herbal medicine, religious sites, and water resources sectors in the Far West. He stressed that positive energy and an investment-friendly mindset are essential for Nepal, rather than negative perceptions.
