Home Minister Aryal inspects Dodhara Chadani dry port under construction
Mahendranagar: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal inspected the construction site of the Dodhara Chadani dry port in Kanchanpur this afternoon.
Parashuram Pokharel, the Home Minister’s personal secretary, stated that the visit was part of Home Minister Aryal’s trip to the Far Western Province for the security seminar scheduled in Dhangadhi on Tuesday. The team, including the Home Minister, inspected the dry port under construction in Dodhara Chadani Municipality.
“During the provincial visit for the security seminar, the dry port construction site was monitored in addition to the border,” said Pokharel. A team from the Armed Police Force accompanied the Home Minister.
Inspector General of the Armed Police Force, Raju Aryal, and the Organization Chief of the Armed Police Force were also present during the visit. The dry port is being constructed in Dodhara Chadani with assistance from the Government of India. The Indian contractors, awarded the contract, have begun construction work and are in the process of importing equipment from India to complete the project within three years.
